In this image IC417 and NGC1931 emission – reflection nebulas can be seen with open clusters in their centers in Auriga. As the Milky Way runs through the constellation, numerous open clusters and wide field of interstellar matter can be seen here. A small part of it is pictured in this composit image, where natural look RGB image had been merged with narrowband monochrome H-alpha image.
