The Milky Way rising over the salt flats at Badwater Basin in Death Valley. This is a composite with the foreground shot during blue hour and sky at night.
A friend and I headed out to the salt flats to get some foreground shots at blue hour (shot at 24 mm)and wait for the milky way core to become vertical. The sky is tracked at 50 mm. We had to sit 4 hours in 122 degree heat to get tracked sky shot I wanted. I definitely won’t be doing that again anytime soon.
